Copa Mariachi 2025: Soccer, Legends & Culture Collide at Paragon Star

Mark your calendars for August 16–17, 2025, because the Copa Mariachi is coming to Paragon Star Sports Complex—and it’s going to be more than just a soccer tournament.

This two-day event will bring together over 120 amateur teams from across the U.S., competing in multiple divisions ranging from elite adult leagues to youth and kids’ tournaments. But Copa Mariachi is far more than competition—it’s a celebration of Latino culture, family, food, and legendary football.

International Legends Take the Field

One of the highlights of this year's Copa Mariachi Kansas is the arrival of international soccer icons representing the best of Latin American football.

  • Brazil will be represented by 11 legendary players, including World Cup and Olympic champion Leandro Damião.

  • Mexico’s greats from Club América, Chivas, and Cruz Azul—including Óscar “Conejo” Pérez—will also be in attendance.

  • Legends from Guatemala, Honduras, and possibly El Salvador are expected to join the festivities as well.

And yes—there’s talk of a Honduras vs Mexico legends match… a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition game fans won’t want to miss.

$80,000 in Prize Money on the Line

That’s not a typo. Copa Mariachi is offering $80,000 in prize money, making it one of the most lucrative amateur tournaments in the region. The stakes will be high, and the competition fierce.

Whether you’re part of a team looking to claim the top spot or a fan eager to see high-energy, fast-paced matches, this is the tournament to watch.

More Than a Tournament: A Full Weekend Experience

What makes Copa Mariachi so unique is its fusion of sport and celebration. In addition to nonstop soccer action, attendees can enjoy:

  • Cultural and family-friendly activities

  • Authentic Latin American cuisine

  • Live music and entertainment

  • Nightlife-style festivities in the evening entertainment zone

  • VIP experiences for players, families, and fans
